The Westfield Police Department has issued a warning for parents in the city after multiple run-ins with what they call a new drug.
WESTFIELD — Police are warning parents to talk to their kids about a new, deadly drug that's making it's way around central Indiana.
Police say they've had several encounters with Hoosiers taking the drug, which can be lethal in even small doses, the police department said in a press release. According to the Department of Justice, as little as two milligrams of fentanyl can be fatal, depending on a person's body size, tolerance and past usage.
