INDIANAPOLIS — The storm system that brought a soggy Thursday to Indiana willtoday. Due to this, the better chance of showers will stay mainly across the eastern tier of the state through the afternoon.
We'll see a gradual clearing from west to east as drier air returns in the late afternoon. Areas west that see a little sunshine before sunset are looking at highs in the low 60s, but staying cooler with clouds elsewhere and highs only in the upper 50s.As skies clear overnight, temperatures will drop into the low-to-mid-40s. It will stay breezy as another frontal boundary moves in.
Rain chances return Wednesday and Thursday, but highs will still be above average, near 70. Rain will be likely on Friday, but the temperature trend looks to stay mild through the start of next weekend.
