This Glasgow restaurant has taken their love for steak to the next level...
Glasgow's food scene, as we all know, is forever expanding with new cafés, restaurants and bakeries opening each week.
Off the back of Chef Nusr-Et, who launched his £1,450 golden steak and £100 gold burger at his London restaurant last year, Chateau-X has gone one better by making their 24k Gold Tomahawk a staggering 97% more affordable than you'll find from the London chef, also known as 'Salt Bae'. Ordering the gold steak however , it's safe to say we were blown away by the dish and better yet we didn't have to venture down to London for the experience.
Although there are only two doughnuts, it's plenty as the starter itself combined with the 1KG steak and sides does become rather filling - in the best way possible. As well as trying their food, we also treated ourselves to their luxury golden cocktail, which we should add - is worth the money. If you're wondering what makes up the drink, it features Amaretto, Luxardo and Lemon which is then topped with Prosecco and of course, the all important 24k gold leaf flakes.
