Having been inducted into the Hall of Fame, Kerry Davis, is keen to see more diversity in the current set up
Across her playing career, which featured a spell in Italy as well as her home country, Davis netted 44 times for the England Women’s team across 82 appearances and was a part of England’s first FIFA Women’s World Cup appearance in 1995. With the current Lionesses, as great as it is to watch all the success they’re having at the moment, do you believe there is a lack of diversity within the current squad?
It’s really important, because the generation before me, who achieved what they did with minimal resources, I think their story needs to be told. We did it the hard way.
