.SpeakerPelosi wrote a Dear Colleague letter to her fellow members of the House this weekend. In it, she called out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Here's what Speaker Pelosi had to say:

Under the leadership of Speaker Nancy Pelosi, lawmakers in the House of Representatives have been working to solve some of the toughest problems this country faces—including the gender wage gap, violence against women, an inexcusably stalled minimum wage, high drug prices, attacks on LGBTQ rights, the climate crisis, expansive voter suppression and the border crisis.

On Thursday, thanks to the courage of our House Members, we continued to honor our oath of office with our strong vote to establish the procedures for the next phase of the inquiry. On the inquiry, the polling has shifted from 59/34 opposed to impeachment when the inquiry was officially announced to 49/47, not only for impeachment, but also removal from office.
