💬 'I really love my job. I love what I do, but I can't take it any more'

“After 10 years of understaffing, low pay and other people’s trauma, I’m researching a new career,” said the nurse, who works in a hospital in London.hospitals have to report when they have inadequate staff on a shift and this happens “pretty much daily” at her hospital. “You just feel awful because you know how bad it is. We work in a caring profession…you feel guilty if you don’t say yes, so you say yes and then you’re putting yourself in jeopardy – your mental health and your physical health,” she said.
