Waukegan police said three men were shot, one fatally, in a strip mall parking lot Wednesday night.
A man in his 20s from North Chicago was transported to a hospital in serious condition and later died, police said. Authorities have not released his identity.
Two other victims, a man in his 30s and a man in his 40s, were transported to the hospital for treatment.Anyone with information can call the Waukegan police tip line at 847-360-9001. Anonymous information can also be given to the Lake County Crime Stoppers at 847-662-2222.
