Watch: YG’s New Girl Group BABYMONSTER Learns Not All 7 Members Will Debut In Teaser Ft. BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Jennie, And More
YG Entertainment’s upcoming girl group BABYMONSTER may be facing changes to its member lineup!
On March 6 at midnight KST, YG Entertainment released a “Last Evaluation” teaser in which founder Yang Hyun Suk announces that the group will not be debuting with seven members. While seven trainees were previously introduced as potential members of BABYMONSTER, Yang Hyun Suk shocks the trainees by informing them in the video, “BABYMONSTER will never be a seven-member group. There will definitely be eliminated [trainees].”
In order to determine which trainees get to debut as members of BABYMONSTER, YG Entertainment will be revealing the seven girls’ final monthly evaluations to the public before deciding the final lineup for the new group.
