Former President Donald Trump touted the “free publicity” his Mar-a-Lago estate received amid the Justice Department’s investigation into documents obtained during the FBI raid of his Florida home.
"Has anyone heard about the document hoax? Helicopters flying over Mar-a-Lago," Trump said while speaking at the National Hispanic Leadership Conference on Wednesday."Well, they've given us about $5 billion worth of free publicity, I will say."
"People said, 'That's a nice house.' If it weren't so nice they probably wouldn't be doing it because it gets ratings,” Trump added.Trump’s remarks came after an appeals court granted the DOJ’s request to expedite its appeal of the special master’s appointment who is set to examine documents obtained in the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago."Everyone knows we've done nothing wrong," Trump said.
