The powerful third baseman and pitcher blasted a ball that traveled over the hedges behind the left-field wall in“That ball is pounded, forget about it,” ESPN’s play-by-play announcer Karl Ravech said on the broadcast about the blast. “Wow, longest home run we’ve seen at the World Series.” Shelton broke open a scoreless game in the third inning when he turned on a pitch up near his shoulders. The ball was estimated to have traveled 270 feet. The fences at South Williamsport's Lamade Stadium are 225 feet all the way around.A NO-DOUBTER 😤
