Watch Lizzo put a 'Sister Act 2' spin on Juice with 2019 MTVAwards performance
After Tiffany Haddish dubbed her the "best singer, rapper, singer/flautist in the game" in her enthusiastic intro, Lizzo took the stage wearing a choir robe as a few familiar chords rang out.
They weren't from "Juice," but "Joyful, Joyful," which the talented teenage choir -- one that included Hill before she rose to fame with the Fugees -- sang in 1993's, the choir ditches their traditional concert garb and comes out to perform wearing their own clothes after a stage manager urges them to do so.
