People can watch live theatre in the grounds on a historic hall
The National Trust's Speke Hall has invited visitors for an evening which it said will be filled with action, music and "rip-roaring laughter" with four special outdoor theatre performances in the gardens. Audiences will be able to make themselves comfortable with their picnics, blankets, and deckchairs in the colourful surroundings of the north lawn on Wednesday, June 21.
Visitors will meet the mirthful Mad Hatter, the constantly late White Rabbit, the quarrelsome Queen of Hearts and the ever-adventurous Alice herself. "Each production brings a delightful array of captivating characters, ensuring a memorable experience for all of our visitors. It's a great opportunity to gather families and friends, enjoy the splendour of Speke Hall's historic gardens and settle in for an evening of spectacular entertainment."
Tickets for all performances are priced at £18 for adults, £10 for children 6+, under 5s free, £50 for a family and can be purchased online or by telephone 0344 249 1895. There is free parking, toilets and baby changing facilities are all available on-site.
