Grammy Award-winning duo For King + Country have raised more than $150,000 for Ukrainian refugees through a special online concert.
Brothers Luke and Joel Smallbone appeared on Fox & Friends Sunday morning, sharing a bit of their performance and explaining that they have “been brokenhearted by what’s taken place over in Ukraine.”The Christian musical artists explained that the idea for the concert fundraiser came from a childhood experience when their dad gave them inspiring advice.
The brothers, who just hit No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart with their newest album, What Are We Waiting For?, said they originally thought they might raise around $50,000 with the concert but have been blown away by the response in donations.
