Watch: BTS’s V Talks About “Barbie” Movie, His Upcoming Solo Debut Album, And More
While posing for the cover of the magazine’s September issue, V took some time to answer questions about his daily life and what fans can expect from his impending solo debut.
V was then asked if he’d watched any movies recently, and he replied, “I saw ‘Barbie.’ Really, truly, out of all the films I’ve watched recently, it had the strongest impact on me.”would have a jazz influence, V explained, “I tried hard to bring out the [jazz elements] in a way that could appeal to the mainstream. It’s music that would be best to listen to when the sun is setting, when you’re going on a drive, or when you’re on your way home from your work.
As for whether fans can expect to see the “powerful” side of BTS’s V in his upcoming solo debut, he replied, “No, I don’t think my [upcoming solo album] has any of V’s particular color. I think [BTS’s V] is something special to me: I think V truly shines brightly when he’s with the group BTS, and I wanted to show another side of myself when I’m on my own, so I prepared a wide variety of new things.
