A warning has been issued to anyone with conifers in their garden. A woman has shared her concerns about the tree on Facebook, after a near tragedy in her mum's garden.
She also took the opportunity to thank neighbours for their help. She said neighbours alerted her mum after seeing smoke and flames billowing from the conifer trees in her garden in Liverpool, which had caught alight, and ran to help.Neighbours reportedly grabbed hoses and tried to put out the flames. Merseyside Fire and Rescue service were also alerted and attended the scene.
