Claudia Butzky named senior VP for band partnerships, strategic marketing & commercial sync licensing at Warner Records

In her new role, Butzky will report to Warner Records COO“Claudia is one of the most well-respected and admired strategic branding experts, and she will be a tremendous asset to our artists and our company as a whole,” said Corson in a statement.
Added Butzky, “I was fortunate to work alongside Tom for many years and I am excited to once again be inspired by his bold thinking and unparalleled drive. Along with Aaron’s passion for music and artists, and Tom and Aaron’s creative vision for the label, this is an exciting time for Warner Records and an incredible opportunity to witness first-hand what they are building.”
Butzky hails from RCA Records, where she most recently served as senior vice president, global brand partnerships. While there, she was an instrumental force in launching campaigns for artists including Pink, Justin Timberlake, SZA, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Pitbull, Foo Fighters, Khalid and A$AP Rocky. She has also initiated successful campaigns with brands including American Express, Cover Girl, Chrysler, Anheuser-Busch and American Airlines.
Butzky previously worked at Island Records and Def Jam Recordings. She is a three-time Billboard Power Player recipient and two-time Clio Award winner.
