Vice President Kamala Harris will address the convention delegates Monday.
Air Force Two touched down at about 10:35 a.m. at the Atlantic City International Airport. She was greeted by Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small.After addressing the convention delegates, Harris was scheduled to meet with more than 20 New Jersey state legislators and local leaders to discuss abortion rights in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling overturning the 49-year-old Roe v. Wade decision.
Other speakers include Roslyn Rogers Collins, president and chief executive of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan New Jersey; Alejandra Sorto, campaign strategist for the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey; and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Chiquita Brooks-LaSure
