The Legacy Prep Christian Academy girls swimming team repeated as TAPPS Division III state champions, winning all three relays Tuesday at the state meet in San Antonio.The Village School won two relays and six individual events as part of a successful showing Wednesday at the TAPPS Division I state swimming championships at Josh Davis Natatorium in San Antonio.

Freshman teammate George Masters was the 200-yard individual medley champion in 2:05.69, while senior Daniel Itkins won the 50-yard freestyle in 21.45 and earned the silver medal in the 100-yard backstroke. Concordia Lutheran freshman Katherine Tilley was the top female sprinter, leading the 50 free and 100 free . Teammate Grace Bourque added a bronze medal in the 500 free.

St. Thomas took fourth in the boys standings with 262 points, led by the silver-medal medley relay of Max Kaase, Ryan Gentile, Tyler Sandrock and Owen Sweeney. Sandrock added silver in the 100 fly and bronze in the 50 free. Hudson Songer and Aidan Burke contributed to a fourth-place finish in the 200 free relay as Second Baptist led the Houston area in Division II team finish.
