A separate video of Donald Trump pleading the 5th during his deposition for a New York fraud investigation has since gone viral.
In the clip, Trump said:"Anyone in my position not taking the 5th amendment would be a fool, an absolute fool.
"One statement or answer that is ever so slightly off, ever so slightly by accident or mistake, such as: 'It was a sunny beautiful day' when actually it was slightly overcast would be met with law enforcement. He continued:"Under the advice of my counsel, for all of the above reasons I effectively decline to answer the rights and privileges afforded to every citizen under the United States Constitution."'s business practices by New York Attorney General Letitia James.During a press conference, James announced the lawsuit and said:"Donald Trump falsely inflated his net worth by billions of dollars to unjustly enrich himself, and to cheat the system, thereby cheating all of us.
She continued:"For too long, powerful, wealthy people in this country have operated as if the rules do not apply to them.has contacted Trump for comment.
