Vice President Kamala Harris has tested positive for COVID-19.
reported that Harris has not experienced any symptoms and has not been in close contact with President Joe Biden or his wife due to their recent travel schedules.She will be following guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, along with advice from her doctors and will isolate herself while working from the vice president’s residence. She will not return to the White House when she tests negative.
Harris is vaccinated against the coronavirus and had her first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine in the weeks before she was sworn in. The second dose was administered days after Inauguration Day in 2021. She got a booster shot in late October and received a second booster on April 1.
