A celebration of life is scheduled for Feb. 20 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brunswick High School Performing Arts Center, 3581 Center Road.
Longtime Medina County Drug Task Force Agent John Stayrock, 60, died Feb. 6.MEDINA --- Medina County Drug Task Force agent John Dale Stayrock, 60, of Broadview Heights, died Feb. 6, following a storied law enforcement career, the Medina County Drug Task Force announced this week.
“John was passionate about his work with law enforcement and bettering the communities he served and he will always be remembered as the first one to offer help at any time, whatever it may be,” the release stated. “John was an incredible human and a model of public service. John enjoyed woodworking in his garage, creating animals, rocking horses, and one-of-a-kind creations. In the summertime, he loved camping with his family and friends.
Medina County Sheriff Terry Grice stated Stayrock “dedicated himself to the mission of the Drug Task Force and to the residents of Medina County.”
