BREAKING: A 28-year-old woman from Utah has been discovered dead in a hotel room in Mexico's Baja California Peninsula, alongside her boyfriend, in an apparent carbon monoxide poisoning incident. MORE:
Authorities identified the couple as 41-year-old John Heathco, and Abby Lutz - both who lived in Newport Beach, Calif.
A friend reached out to 2News sharing Lutz was from Utah, and our records search shows that prior to moving to California, Lutz lived in Utah.set up by family members, Lutz and Heathco thought they had food poisoning and then the family received a call that they had died. The family said they were told it was from "improper venting" in the resort and that it could be carbon monoxide poisoning.
