Many popular holiday hotspots are affected
People travelling to Spain this month have been issued a warning as easyJet strikes in the country are set to begin this week.
After negotiations failed, easyJet workers will strike in three-day batches, starting on August 12, 13 and 14. Strikes will continue from August 19 to 21 and will take place again from August 27 to August 29.The strikes are most likely to affect the airline's bases at Malaga, Barcelona, and Palma de Mallorca airports. However, the industrial action may have a knock-on effect at other airports in the country.
Speaking to Reuters, easyJet expressed disappointment in the decision and stated that talks were ongoing. The airline added that it was aware of pilot strikes at its bases in Barcelona, Malaga and Palma.
