Fat Boy's Pizza to open first Houston location in Richmond next week
, a New Orleans-based pizza concept, is expanding into Texas with its first location in the Houston area. The 4,800-square-foot restaurant plus patio will be at The Grand at Aliana shopping mall in Richmond, according to the company's release.
The restaurant chain boasts 30-inch pizzas, appetizers and a full bar that includes daiquiris by the gallon. But more interesting is the food challenge: A 2-foot slice of pizza. If customers can eat it in less than seven minutes, they'll score a Fat Boy's Pizza T-shirt and a $20 gift card.Fat Boy's intends to open four to five more locations in the area. The next is planned for Katy in June 2023.
