UNISON and EIS-FELA have also announced a further walkout date to take place later this month
Union employees at UHI Perth went on strike on Thursday in a dispute over job cuts, pay and conditions - with a further walkout date announced for later this month.
Students were advised to study from home with the Academy of Sports and Wellbeing remaining open as a self study space. The college said it is struggling to bridge a £3 million funding gap, citing cost of living increases and the removal of funding by the Scottish Government as the cause. UHI Perth College, along with Edinburgh College, will be hit by further strikes from both unions on September 22.
