Snow has settled on the ground in Bristol this morning.The city is under a yellow weather warning from the Met Office for snow until 9am on Thursday.Police in Wiltshire are also urging people to only make necessary journeys after"heavy snow" overnight.
It said driving conditions could be"extremely difficult", especially for larger vehicles and those without four-wheel drive. "This could potentially lead to their vehicle becoming jack-knifed or stranded in the wintry weather. "But our survey found that young people are more than twice as likely to use boiling water as the general population. One in 20 risks a cracked windscreen by pouring boiling water on it."
