results from Britain’s general election are beginning to trickle in. Although it is still too soon to tell who is in the lead, the 10pm exit poll, which has a good historical record, predicts that the Conservative Party, led by Boris Johnson, will win an 86-seat majority.
A rush of declarations is expected soon from the rest of Britain’s 650 constituencies. As soon as enough results come in to produce a reliable estimate,will publish a live-updating forecast of the final seat total, until the final seat is declared at around 8am.
