The 29-year-old admits he was taken back by McGregor’s angry comments as he didn’t feel like he’d said anything disrespectful about the Irish superstar. Aspinall added: “I didn’t disrespect him in any way. I would never disrespect him or anybody. You’ve met me as a person plenty of times and I’m not that kind of character.
“I wouldn’t disrespect anyone, especially someone like him who’s a massive pioneer of the sport. All I said was I’m more interested in other fights.“There’s a freaking heavyweight title fight coming up this weekend, in my division. Of course, I’m going to be more invested in that. But who knows? Like I said, his name is staying way out of my mouth right now. I don’t want none of that.”of his own during his main event match-up with Curtis Blaydes at UFC London in July 2022.
The top contender is now fully fit again and looking for a fight but has not been added to the upcoming
