The running game being strong helps everything else.
As the UCLA Bruins continue their season, they have a clear need to focus on. That would be making sure that the running game continues to be successful.
“I think there were flashes and there were times we looked really, really good,” Kelly said. “And there were other times when, for lack of a better term, we left some meat on the bone. We need to continue to grow on the offensive side of the ball. Statistically, when you look at it, we did rush for a lot of yards but Collin had a little bit to do with that too himself. That was a little bit different schematic changeup that we hadn’t shown in the past.
If the team can set up the run, it would heavily open up the passing attack, allowing UCLA to be even more dynamic. The Bruins' offense has been a little up and down in recent weeks, but they are at their best when they run the ball effectively.
