The warmth President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un displayed in their Sunday meeting along the border of the two Koreas had one tangible result: an agreement to begin new working-level talks after nearly half a year of stalemate.
But to make progress in those talks, which are expected to begin this month, the two sides need to demonstrate a flexibility that wasn’t evident at the summit meetings they held in Singapore and Hanoi, former officials say.
