Florida-based U.S. financier Walter Veintemilla is accused of funding the operation. A fourth suspect, Frederick Joseph Bergmann Jr., is accused of smuggling goods. Tama Kudman, Veintemilla's attorney, told The Associated Press that he would plead not guilty to both charges.
