BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Boston EMS took two victims of a stabbing to a local hospital around 2:19 a.m. Wednesday.

Two women were stabbed after a group of people got into a fight in Boston's theater district early Wednesday morning, Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden said.

Authorities said a group of 10 people were fighting in the area of Seaver Place and Warrenton Street around 2 a.m. when the stabbing occurred. Boston EMS took two women to local hospitals. The women are in serious condition, officials said. "Officers will continue to investigate," Hayden said."We don’t have a lot of info at this point, other than it was a fight involving a group of individuals."

Stuart Street was also blocked off near the W Boston hotel as police investigate. No further information was immediately available.
