The Clark Atlanta University student was found dead in a local park days after filing a police report accusing her roommate’s boyfriend of unwanted touching.
According to court documents obtained by local station WXIA-TV, Crawford died of asphyxiation after a physical altercation with her roommate and close friend, Jordyn Jones, and Jones’s boyfriend,A police summary and arrest warrant obtained by the news outlet says
Brantley choked Crawford to death with his hands and that Jones smothered her "with a black trash bag until Crawford stopped breathing and was deceased." The pair then moved Crawford’s body to the park in a plastic bin and left her in a wooded area, according to the summary.
