It was a busy night for fire crews
all attended the blaze and eventually led the two occupants to safety, and passed them into the hands of Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
A statement from WYFRS said: “Call received reporting house fire with persons trapped inside. Fire survival guidance was issued by the fire service to the occupiers of the property until crews arrived on scene. The fire was located in the downstairs living room and was extinguished using two breathing apparatus sets and one large jet. Two occupiers were led to safety by fire fighters and were placed in the care of the ambulance service.
