Emergency services were called to Mill Street at the junction with Kings Park Avenue at around 11.50pm last night following the incident involving a Mercedes C220 and a Ford Mondeo.The 80-year-old male driver was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died a short time later.He has been arrested in connection with the incident.It is still closed at this time.on 101, quoting incident number 4274 of November 18.
Sergeant Gemma Blackadder said:"Our thoughts are with the family and friends of those who died as a result of this incident. "Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash and who may have witnessed it or have dash cam footage to contact us."
