Within six and a half hours, two girls were shot in separate incidents — the first in West Philadelphia, the second in Frankford.
A 12-year-old girl was hospitalized in critical but stable condition after being shot inside a residence Friday night in West Philadelphia, police said.
Police obtained a search warrant and a firearm was found. An investigation continues with police calling the shooting accidental.
