member Chaeyoung has apologized after posting a photo to social media wearing a shirt featuring Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols in a shirt with a swastika, which she has since deleted.
"Hello, this is Chaeyoung from TWICE. I sincerely apologize regarding the Instagram post. I didn't correctly recognize the meaning of the tilted swastika in the t-shirt I wore," the K-pop idol's formal apology, posted onto her 8.6 million in both Korean and English, reads. "I deeply apologize for not thoroughly reviewing it, causing concern. I will pay absolute attention in the future to prevent any situation similar from happening again. [I] sincerely apologize again.
