Weather officials said there is a slight risk of thunderstorms Tuesday in portions of north central and northeast Illinois, and northwest Indiana.
Isolated and widely scattered storms are possible in the afternoon hours with occasional cloud to ground lightning. Wind gusts up to 30 mph could arise, officials said.The thunderstorms are expected to dissipate early Tuesday evening as temperatures drop.
Current conditions at Chicago’s airports is partly cloudy at 81 degrees. There is a chance of thunderstorms for the next three days, officials said.
