A majority of the Republican candidates for Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are blindly devoted to all things Trump.
They will rail about inflation but provide no solutions to solve it. They will talk about “Democrat socialist ideas” but give no examples of what makes these ideas socialist. Most importantly, they will view their primary as a competition on ways to make it harder to vote.
In our state and our country, many are suffering. Drug addiction, poverty and COVID have sapped the will and the strength of so many. Is it possible that a political party could ignore these problems and nominate a candidate whose priority is re-litigating a presidential election a year and a half ago? Could they really nominate a candidate who won on the same ballot that Donald Trump lost on and still concluded that the election was fraudulent. Why yes, they could.
