“Mail-in ballots are automatically corrupt. If you have mail-in ballots, you’re gonna have very dishonest elections,” Trump said.“The raid is terrible, and the way they treated people is terrible,” Trump said. He said there was no need for the raid and that if the FBI had made an effort to communicate effectively, the whole thing could have been avoided.
Trump clarified as soon as DeSantis was mentioned that the two were not friends. He then told the story of how, according to the former president, he got DeSantis elected.“Ron came to see me, tears in his eyes — he said, ‘I need you to do me a big favor … would you endorse me?’” Trump said his endorsement completely turned the primary around. He also said it helped DeSantis beat “crackhead” Andrew Gillum in the race for the governorship.
