The registered complaints, which included one petition with 18,722 names attached, raised fears about the impact the planned development could have on the surrounding environment as well as the affordability of housing on the site., named the Trump Estate, include building 500 homes, a further 50 hotel cottages, retail space and other facilities.
Malone added:"It was clear from today's debate that Aberdeenshire Council recognizes the importance of Trump International and the significant investment these new plans represents for the North East economy."she voted in favour of the Trump Estate plans because the development and its potential for tourism was enough to persuade her.
