The wave never materialized but Trump has forged ahead, inviting congressional allies and other VIPs to his Florida estate for the rollout. He filled three Supreme Court vacancies, shifting the high court so dramatically to the right that it overturned Roe vs. Wade in June, ensuring Trump’s enduring affection among social conservatives who once had doubted him.
