Troopers said a man called 911 at 12:05 p.m. and said someone in a truck had shot at him on westbound SR 18 near Issaquah/Hobart Road. The victim told troopers and detectives that he was involved in a road rage incident with an aggressive driver that began as both vehicles were approaching the Tiger Mountain summit.
The victim, who was driving a black GMC Sierra truck, said as he began to exit to Issaquah/Hobart Road, the driver of a silver truck fired multiple rounds from a handgun and then continued on westbound SR 18.The truck is described as a silver, early 2000s Toyota Tacoma with no license plate and a disabled placard hanging from the rearview mirror. The driver was described as a 30-to-40-year-old man with salt-and-pepper hair.
