Three-time WNBA all-star is first player in history of Mitty girls basketball program to receive jersey retirement honor
SAN JOSE — One of the greatest players in Archbishop Mitty’s storied basketball history had her jersey retired on Friday night.
WNBA All-Star and Archbishop Mitty High School alum Danielle Robinson returned to San Jose, Calif. to have her Mitty jersey retired during a halftime ceremony, Friday night, Feb. 3, 2023. Robinson averaged 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals per game during her senior season when she led Mitty to a state championship.
