Jonah Martinez and two other friends found 22 coins on Wabasso Beach in Indian River County, Florida.
A group of treasure hunters have found 300-year-old silver coins worth thousands of dollars buried on a Florida beach.
"When you pick up anything from these wrecks, you know you're in the right place at the right time," Martinez told the station. The value of all the lost treasure they've found is around $13 million, according to Martinez. But he told WPTV that he and his friends don't sell their finds for profit. Instead, they either keep what they find or donate them to museums.
