More than 5.8 million drivers are expected to travel through the Pennsylvania Turnpike this July 4 weekend.
PHILADELPHIA -- If you're hitting the road this holiday weekend, you'll have plenty of company.
"We just parked our car here in Philadelphia and we're just walking the whole town and not trying to drive around," said Hendricksen."So we're finding that paying $24 a day to park is a lot cheaper than trying to drive around for the whole day and burning up gasoline." "I probably paid about $200 in gas driving from South Carolina up this way and I still got to pay to get back," said Amy Robinson of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
