A new Transformers sequel is being discussed with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts director Steven Caple Jr. in talks to direct.
Caple Jr. is in talks to direct the next movie in the Transformers franchise. He detailed in an episode of Deadline’spodcast that he is not officially signed on for the next movie, but the sequel is “in the works.”
He described that he would love to branch out the ending of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which would create a crossover event between Transformers and another Hasbro IP. “I have some ideas on how to branch out that part of the franchise,” Caple says.
