TEXAS — A 13-year-old transgender boy was pulled out of class by school administrators on Aug. 30, his mother said, and questioned by the Department of Family and Protective Services, according to theThe state agency began asking the boy, identified under the pseudonym of Steve Koe, personal questions ranging from his gender dysphoria diagnosis and medical history to his suicide attempts a few years ago.
According to the Washington Post, the declaration is part of a collection of supplemental evidence in an ongoing lawsuit LGBTQ advocates filed to block investigations into families who provide gender-affirming care to their transgender children.
