When to see all the lights, plus all the extended opening hours for Christmas week
The Trafford Centre is known for its colourful Christmas lights displays throughout the vast shopping mall come the winter. And visitors keen to get into the festive spirit will be pleased to hear it's not long to wait to see them light up now.
That includes the return of a traditional Christmas grotto inside the shopping mall. Santa will be arriving back to the Trafford Centre from Friday, November 17. It will feature 'a huge shimmering ice rink', fairground rides, a Snowstorm 'spectacular ice show' from Gandeys, a magical Christmas Tree bar and other festive fayre. Visitors will be able to book on a 45-minute ice skating session on the 25m x 20m covered ice rink, underneath a canopy of twinkling lights.
