M65 retail park plan hits sour note with residents saying 'traffic is bad enough already'
Rural Blackburn residents are expressing their objections over plans for a new industrial park in an area of green belt land.

Not only that but where they intend to put a junction onto the M65 is a notorious spot for accidents due to the lanes changing quickly from three to just two.
"The landscape around Feniscowles which is beautiful is already being eaten away with the building of new housing, when these are all complete they will put more pressure on the infrastructure of our local area already without a logistics park. There's plenty of empty industrial units around which could be utilised.
"What benefit could this possibly give to Chorley Council and town due to its location? Many people from Feniscowles and the surrounding areas cherish this beautiful countryside, we've lost enough of it already to housing. We don't want this proposed logistics park to go ahead. Junction three off the M65 is already congested especially Finnington Lane, with this logistics park it would cause even more traffic and congestion.
